Birds of the Thai-Malay Peninsula

O

Birds of the Thai-Malay Peninsula As a youngster in Minnesota I remember reading an ornithology text book and seeing a photo of a very exotic bird, a Racket-tailed Drongo, by a photographer with an exotic name,  Loke Wan Tho. Thirty years later I went to paint birds in SE Asia and  watched many Racket-tailed Drongos. I learned Loke Wan Tho was tragically killed in plane crash. I contributed 22 paintings to this book, the first of 2 volumes on the birds of the Thai-Malay Peninsula, a memorial to Loke Wan Tho sponsored by his sister, Lady Yuen Peng McNeice.
